Spring Retreat is NSU’s annual kickoff to our wildly popular Spring Quarter lineup of events. Retreat is open to all NSU members, especially first and second years! We will be doing a lot of activities that will help everybody get to know each other and work together better, learn about NSU and important issues, and find out about all of the impressive events NSU has for you next quarter! Have you ever wondered what the people were like in NSU BEFORE you came here? Maybe you know someone who has recently graduated? Come for a finals study break to meet past NSUers in our 1st Annual Alumni Basketball Game. Join your team, the NSU IM team, to cheer, heckle and compete against the Alumni team and their crowd!! This will be a very spirited event using any means necessary…meaning, come bearing signs, noisemakers, even Taiko drums, etc. because you will not want to be out spirited by the old alumni!! Be CREATIVE and bring NSU’s spirit to the next level by painting faces, bringing your own mascot or having synchronized cheers. Whatever it is you decide, remember to Bring It!!

We will be capping players at 10 a piece due to time constraints and playing time. However, there will be a special halftime skills competition for you to participate in, that will entertain all that come! All GBMers are welcome!! If you are a female that is interested in playing, we do not have a scheduled game yet, but we are looking to fill a women’s or coed game too! Contact us ASAP because spots will fill FAST and we need to know how many games we will be playing!

It’s the last week of the quarter! And then we have to buckle down and hit finals… but not before we eat some good homecooked food! Come out to our potluck, bring your friends and a dish (or $3) and feast away with games and fun!
