ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE INFO
Please meet at PETERSON TURNAROUND at 7:00 PM for rides on Friday, March 28.
If you can drive, please email me with how many you can fit in your car. (I know who drives, so if nobody speaks up I’m going to be making some calls..)
*So here’s the deal. Retreat officially starts on Friday evening, but we actually have the location starting THURSDAY night (March 27). Liane and I (Stacy) will be inhabiting the space starting Thursday, so if you would like to stay an extra night in the house, please email me back to let me know. If I don’t receive an email from you, I will assume that you will be meeting at Peterson Turnaround on Friday, the 28th.
—-> If you wish to stay on Thursday night as well, you need to email me no later than TUESDAY, MARCH 25 by 9:00 PM.
We will be returning to UCSD in the morning on Sunday, March 30. We should be back by lunchtime at the very latest.
PAYMENT INFO
Since I wasn’t able to collect money this past week for retreat (sorry about that guys!), you will need to pay Friday night.
You may pay by cash or check (written out to “UCSD Nikkei Student Union”). The total is $35 per person. Also, you may want to bring extra cash for “other” purposes.
PACKING INFO (what to bring)
We will be indoors most of the time, but there will be some activities and playtime outside, since we’re so close to the beach. So bring the appropriate stuff!
– sleeping bag & pillow
– toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant, hairbrush, etc.)
– clothes & underpants!
– sunblock
– bathing suit
– zoris (sandals)
– towel
– planner (we will be going over the spring calendar)
DO NOT BRING ANYTHING UNNECESSARY. You will be frowned upon if you bring frivolous items.
Everything else that will be needed will be provided.
OFFICER INFO
Board, don’t forget your folders that Liane gave you at the beginning of the quarter. You should have some of it done already to show your shadows. Liane will be checking up on your progress at retreat. Also, be sure to bring your planners.
